1、 Composition of filling functional masterbatch

Main components of filling master batch:

1) Filler: such as calcium carbonate, talc powder, etc

2) Coupling agent: such as carbonate silane, etc

3) Dispersant: such as polyethylene wax and stearate

4) Carrier resin: The moisture absorbing and defoaming masterbatch is composed of metal oxide+resin+additives. The flame retardant masterbatch is composed of flame retardant+resin+additives. The conductive masterbatch will wrap and granulate long copper fibers and resin. The foam master batch is composed of a composite foaming agent, lubricant, dispersant, and colorant. The UV resistant master batch is composed of two UV resistant agents, and is compounded with carriers, dispersants, and other auxiliary agents. The weather resistant masterbatch is composed of light stabilizer+resin+auxiliary agent.

2、 The role of filling functional masterbatches

The cooling masterbatch is mainly used for PP, which can reduce the temperature by about 30-50 degrees. Brightening masterbatch, also known as brightening masterbatch, aims to improve the brightness of products. Its main brightening agent is ethylenebisstearamide, with a general color masterbatch dosage of 20% - 30%, and 0.2% - 0.3% in products. Too much will affect the printing effect of products. During the production of reinforcing masterbatch, sometimes materials tend to accumulate at the discharge port, which is mainly caused by the entrainment of air by talc powder. During production, it is necessary to heat and stir to melt the wax, wet the talc powder, or add white mineral oil.

Moisture absorbing and defoaming masterbatch is mainly used to remove moisture and unknown low molecular volatiles contained in plastic, thereby making plastic products free of water and bubbles, which can reduce the drying process while ensuring product quality. Flame retardant masterbatches are mainly used for flame retardant modification applications, while foam masterbatches are commonly used for PE, PP, EVA, etc.
